A note to fellow Epicureans: there is a wonderful experience to be had at NE 20th Avenue and Everett Street in Portland. Nestled among the subjects of the usual food-cart raves is Anna, who whips up Vietnamese specialties both beautiful and delicious. Six dollars will buy you any one of a selection of huge sandwiches/plates, and here both veggies and carnivores can find their bliss. Mine came in the form of a heaping platter of pho with juicy pork, carrots, cilantro and a subtle peanut infusion. Superb!
